Revlon - Lip Butters - Review

Sugar Plum, Berry Smoothie, Peach Parfait

I know I’m a little late in jumping on this band wagon, but I am currently obsessed with the Revlon lip butters. I have three colours thus far. Berry Smoothie, Sugar Plum and Peach Parfait. They are the perfect everyday lip colours. They are moisturising and easy to apply, which I think is their greatest advantage over lipsticks. Yes, they do come off relatively easily especially when you eat or drink but they are so easy to re-apply I don’t think it’s an issue. It also allows you to change colours throughout the day which I often want to.

The colour pay off varies between colours. So I would suggest before buying them to test them out. In Australia they are $21.95, but I believe they are significantly cheaper overseas. The packaging is very nice and the colour coded lids make it easy to select the colour you want from your collection.

In terms of care for the lip butters it is important not to let them melt and not to wind them out too far. The lip butter begins to rub off the sides and down the metal and look a bit dirty after a few uses. The point also breaks and pushes back.

The lip butters are a really wonderful product and I recommend these to everyone.

  1. $21 in Australia!?! That's significantly overpriced, it's only about $10 here in Canada.

Great shades though! Followed you back :)

  3. in America they are 12$ But that doesn't mean anything though because it depends on the average pay of someone in australia. I love the lip butters too I have the one in brown sugar
